We may be wedding photographer’s based out of Savannah, but we love getting the opportunity to photograph weddings in different cities! Pine Lakes Country Club wedding venue is a gorgeous classic plantation home right near the coast of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I have always been a sucker for a white home, and this one was no different. It was such a gorgeous setting for Brittany and Shawn’s wedding day!
I remember the first time we spoke to Brittany, hearing how Shawn and her met at a baseball stadium while she was selling cracker jacks. It is always so amazing to me how people meet and somehow the universe decided to make them soul mates. Their relationship blooms, and like these two, they spent the next few years sometimes being thousands of miles a part but somehow makes it work.
When Brittany first began her planning she was living in Myrtle Beach, while Shawn, who is in the air force was stationed out in Alaska. If you think wedding planning is tough, I can only imagine doing so when your fiancé is across the country!
It may have been a rainy day, but it couldn’t have been a more gorgeous wedding, full of love, family and friends (who also traveled from all over the world to be a part of their day). It was such a special day to be a part of, and capturing moments with Brittany and her parents are some that I will always remember!
We are so happy for them as they make their way back to Alaska, and where ever life takes them next!
