This is blog post is made out to all the recently engaged couples out there. You just got engaged, and now is the time to start enjoying this new season of life planning your wedding day.
And that includes your engagement session with your wedding photographer. Most of the time couples focus on the location of the session. What the scenery is going to look like. Here is Savannah it is always a question of wanting that lowcountry, mossy oak feel or wanting the beach and boardwalk.
What they often don’t take into consideration is what those times look like. Whether you realize it or not the time of day, where the sun is setting, if there is a sunny or cloudy day just like in landscaping can make or break the photos you envision for your engagement photos.
There aren’t many people out there that enjoy an early morning before the sunrises. I may be biased because I am one of those few people that love the feeling and quietness of an early morning before the sunrises. The peace and quiet just can’t be beat at any other time of the day. And the sunrise is one of the prettiest views out there.
So to answer my statement, why you should consider a sunrise engagement session, there are so many responses. And the first begins with the sky. Sunsets are awesome too, but it is often too dark when the sun is just going down to really capture the same peak of light. I love capturing photos as the sun is just breaking the service. The light that erupts can put the perfect mood on a photo that symbolizes love between two people.
The second and most important reason is without a doubt the ability to capture photos anywhere! Especially in a city like Savannah, getting to capture photos downtown in the evening can often be hard to accomplish. People are everywhere, walking into a shot, getting in the background, or cars come driving through the perfect spot to capture the sunset. In the morning during a sunrise session there is nothing you need to worry about. Most people are still asleep, so it is the perfect time to get an amazing photo anywhere in the city.
So consider a sunrise engagement session. It is so worth the early wakeup call!
