Ashley and Anthony are dear friends of ours that we met right after moving to Savannah. We were honored that they wanted us to capture such an intimate day celebrating their marriage. They thing about Ashley and Anthony is that they are intentional people that just care about others. Although their wedding design was important to them they also wanted their guests to feel welcomed and also enjoy something they both love, the mountains.

Timeless Destination Mountain Top Wedding

The most important thing to Ashley and Anthony was the location. Ashley is originally from Colorado, so the mountains have always been a part of her life. Getting married in the mountains was something she desired from the moment she got engaged. They had a lot of friends and Anthony’s family on the east coast, so they decided that the Blue Ridge Mountains was the perfect location. They also wanted their guests to enjoy something that was so close to them.

Timeless Mountain Ceremony

They planned a November wedding at Sawyer Family Farmstead. They had a timeless and elegant late fall style with a deep maroon, white and black color palette to match the season. Star Gazers Design created a beautiful archway of florals to compliment the mountaintop view from the top of the hill at Sawyer Family Farmstead.

Classic Bridal Style

Ashley had a very classic and elegant bridal style from her Martina Liana ballgown two piece dress, with lace top to her updo with flower hair piece. Anthony had a deep grey tux that matched his groomsmen with a black bowtie.

Elegant and Romantic Fall Reception

The reception space was just a short walk down the hill to a beautiful wooded ballroom. They used deep wood tones to set the style and added candlelights to create an intimate and romantic feel. The vibe of the room was timeless and perfectly matched the emotion of the room.
